Chuck, my wife is having the same issue with her iPad second-generation. She is not using any adaptive services on the device. She goes to the app store, updates and it shows nothing. Re: Can't update my iPad mini.
hi, i don't have the exact problem however, whenever i update apps on the ipad thru the apps store, there will be some updates appearing that belong to other device but the ipad. I never install those apps on my ipad. It seems like there're no way to get rid of them. I've try closing the appstore completely and restart, i've try reboot the ipad both soft reboot and hard reboot. The only thing i haven't try is to do a complete reset/restore of the ipad. I reckon, i have this problem since IOS6.14 with IPad Mini. Anyone can share some lights on this? RE: Can't update my iPad mini.
Hi Joanne, I assume you have another iDevice like an iPhone or iPod Touch? If so, make sure you go to Settings and iTunes and App Store and make sure that automatically download apps is turned off. I can't say for sure if that is the problem since I don't own 2 iDevices, but it's worth to check. Dear Friends, Unfortunately, I am having the same problem except that I am having the problem on my Iphone 4S with 8 updates. As I double tap on updates tab and go to extreme left I hear: Updates: heading: then if I swipe right ideally I should her purchased but instead I hear all the tabs. I spoke to Apple support in USA and India and all are aghast. Do let me know if anyone finds any solution as the problem may have been caused by some common app or something. Re: Can't update my iPad mini.
Hi all! Strange! I had no problems updating in the app store in my iPhone 5 and iPad mini.I had 2 updates and I i Clicked on the app store and updates, 2 items and first when I swiped my fingers after the update heading, it was blank. I waited for like ten seconds and my updates popped up and I was able to click on update all and it worked. Thank you. Ruby, you might want to start another thread for your answer to be seen. You can compose a new message and then in the subject, write what your message is about and in the message body, post your question.
