Re: Going back one screen from the Bluetooth keyboard when there's no escape key?

2015-10-17 Thread Krister Ekstrom
Nope it doesn’t work on this one. Well there’s fortunately a somewhat involved
but a workaround for the problem. I will have to use quicknav for this and then
press ctrl+up arrow i think it is to go to the very first item on the screen.
Since this is the ”back” button i can then press it. Is there a way to go to
the first item on the screen without turning quicknav on?

Nah, that reads the screen from the cursor position. I have actually found out
by reading the manual for the keyboard model that this is perfectly normal
behaviour. Since it is a cross platform model meant to work on all major
smartphone platforms there’s only an escape key for windows Os when the
keyboard works with Android or iOs it presses the home button. This is also why
in an earlier thread i was asking if anyone knew how the Zagg Pocket keyboard
worked, if there is an escape key there or if there’s just a key to press the

2015-10-16 Thread Jennie Facer
Hi Krister,
I have the Zagg Pocket keyboard also. I ended up changing modifier key to
caps lock and then the letter h to go home. There is no escape on that
keyboard. I made suggestions to those guys about putting one in future versions
of the keyboard also.

Nah, that reads the screen from the cursor position. I have actually found out
by reading the manual for the keyboard model that this is perfectly normal
behaviour. Since it is a cross platform model meant to work on all major
smartphone platforms there’s only an escape key for windows Os when the

in an earlier thread i was asking if anyone knew how the Zagg Pocket keyboard
worked, if there is an escape key there or if there’s just a key to press the

Re: Going back one screen from the bluetooth keyboard when there's no escape key?

2015-10-09 Thread 'RobH.' via VIPhone
My inclination is to find the navigation key combination to take you to the top
of the screen, the thing the Home button used to do
on PC's; then use the quicknav up/down arrows keypress to activate the back
button from there.
i've not tried the del button on the other top corner, I know that acts as Back
in some PC environments, and some of that appears
even in iOs, though never sure which will, or won't, work.
