Re: How to change the Apple ID of a purchased app

2020-09-19 Thread Donna Casteen
Hi,

There is no way to change the apple user ID for an app. The only solution is to
delete the app. Before deleting the app I recommend searching the app store to
confirm that the app is still in the app store. If the app has been removed
from the app store, deleting the app also removes the backup of the app from
your iCloud. What was a Free app years ago may now be a paid app. Two things to
consider before proceeding with deleting the app.

RE: How to change the Apple ID of a purchased app

2020-09-19 Thread Laury, Shawnese (LEO)
I too am having sort of the same issue. I have an iphone for work as well as
personal.

I purchased apps to share between both phones but when I update I get the same
message that some apps are no longer being shared with me.

My question is can the apple ID be changed or once you select your apple ID it
is permanent?

Thank you

Hi,
A few years ago, my friend purchased a free app on my iPhone using his Apple
ID. Each time I change the phone or do a reset, I need to input the password of
his Apple ID In order to redownload the app. Is it possible for me to change
the Apple ID to mine?

Re: How to change the Apple ID of a purchased app

2020-09-19 Thread Dave Clement
Hi,

I don't think you can do this. However, you might try this.

1. Delete the app from your phone

2. Purchase it yourself from the AppStore.

If it is still a free app, this should be workable with no cost to you.
