Re: iTunes and backups

2020-03-12 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Steve,

If you are experiencing iTunes backup now greyed out on windows 10,
probably the iTunes version on your PC is outdated and is not compatible
with your iPhone. Therefore, updating the iTunes backup on your Windows to
the latest version can fix this problem

RE: ITunes and Backups

2014-09-25 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
1. Open iTunes
2. Go to Edit, Preferences, Device tab
3. Tab to the list of backups
4. Select the one you want, then tab to Delete and activate it, confirm and
it's gone. Reopeat until all old backups you don't want are gone or delete
all of them and then right away do a new backup of your phone of course
after you first transfer all purchases and do a sync. I recommend you do an
encrypted backup, just make sure you don't forget the password.

Can some kind sole tell me how or if you even can remove older backups from
ITunes? I have about a dozen listed and would like to remove some of them.

RE: ITunes and Backups

2014-09-25 Thread Mike O'Brien
Hi

When I go to iTunes, preferences, devices and tab to the list of backups,
the only one that appears in the list is the latest backup. So when I
backup again, the old one will be gone and only the latest one shows up.
Are there supposed to be multiple backups?
