Keep playing with this setting maybe depending on the phone each phone may
require a different setting. Try increasing the value. Please keep me
informed so that I can let Apple know.

I thought it was the "Idle Opacity" that should be set. Mine was already set to
40. I am trying this, but no luck. The first announcement I got read, but
subsequent ones have not. I even rebooted the phone.

I hope someone can figure it out and get it to work!

This sounds promising and possibly very helpful, but after turning on Assistive
Touch, I have Customize Top Level menu, a setting called Idle Opacity, and
Create New Gesture. I cannot find a custom actions menu.

I wonder where it might be hidden?

This sounds promising and possibly very helpful, but after turning on
Assistive Touch, I have Customize Top Level menu, a setting called
Idle Opacity, and Create New Gesture. I cannot find a custom
actions menu.

I wonder where it might be hidden?

Subject: If messages are getting cut off especially like the "Closing Apps" in
the App Launcher

Hello there everyone,

I was asked by an Apple employee to share with people.

If you have a problem where words are cut off when performing actions within
the Notification Center there is a remedy. The remedy is as follows:

1. Please go to Settings/General/Accessibility.

2. Then got to Assisistive Touch and inside the Assistive Touch menu option
there is an On/Off toggle Switch it must be on.

3. Now while in the Assistive touch menu you may swipe to the right or use the
rotor to find the Headings rotor setting if that’s set within your rotor
settings under Voiceover. And find Custom Actions.

4. Under the Custom Actions heading you will find a setting which is a button
and it also says “None” which is fine.

5. Double tap on this button.

6. Under this button you will find a double tap time out and set it by using
the increase button or typing “0.40.

This allows Voiceover to have a little more time to speak when in the
Notification Center. This may also be useful for single actions but I have had
no reason to change anything there.

 called Double Tap
