I have both tempo perfect and smart metronome.  I find smart metronome a little 
easier to use.  I believe it was also free.

The last button that says something like switch on off, is the unlabelled start 
button.
When you get to the bottom you will notice two switch on type buttons. The last 
one is the on/off.

I'm embarrassed to ask this. How does one start the thing?

I have it installed on my iPhone 6 running 9.3.2.

I flick through it and can adjust tempo and change meter, but I haven't found a 
way that gets it started.

I have been having some intermittent problems with this phone where the screen 
seems to go numb to taps and other gestures at times, so that may be that's the 
issue, but I cannot establish that as the cause at this point.

If you search for Jacky Ma, you will find it quickly, but if you search for 
Metronome you will have to go through a ton of results.

I use tempo perfect.  I've tried several and this is the easiest one for me.  
It's completely voice over friendly and free, so if it doesn't work for you

I use TempoPerfect which gives you enough to do 3/4 or whatever timing,  and 
talking tuner for easy, all be it quick and   well, dunno how perfect it 
is; tuning not my strong suit.  But don't know anything to read scores, 
sorry. Interested if there's anything on tablature for Uke, banjo and the 
like. I gave up on the Mandolin!
