Re: Most Accessible Spreadsheet?
Hello, I've downloaded many of the spreadsheet apps and have not found one, including numbers, that is accessible. Yes you can do some things in numbers, but it does not allow for navigation of the table, editing of the table, or really doing anything productive with regard to the actual data you want to work with. Yes, I do mean Excel with Windows and Jaws. Sorry, by the way, I had said "Pages" and of course I meant Numbers. I haven't looked at other apps that come up for spreadsheets, but I assume some of them are apps like the various Office apps which read all sorts of Microsoft Office files and possibly allow for editing of such files, but to my knowledge they are for the most part inaccessible. The fact is, at least for me, that any app I use would absolutely have to be compatible with Excel files since in my retail business that is what I get from everybody. I guess the question is not so much which is the most accessible spreadsheet because to my knowledge you have only 3 choices: Pages, Pages or Pages. Having said this, Pages does have some accessibility, I played around with it a bit, but I found it way too tedious to be very productive with it, it's not anywhere close to what I can do and how fast I can do it with Excel on the computer.
