You will first have to grant permission to Siri shortcuts to access the camera and the photos apps. After that you will see this say cheese shortcut option in Siri shortcuts. Best of luck! Yes! I know it was redundant! I just figured out the Camera app and Apple Watch and I could use it easily for taking photos from my iPhone and even get a viewfinder in my Apple Watch! It’s funny, this technology, sometimes it makes you go around in circles! Have a great day! I am not sure what the purpose is why you would speak Say Cheese into the Apple Watch, it does not have a camera and if you want to use it as a remote control for the iPhone camera then you can do this already manually. RE: Setting up the “say cheese” Siri shortcut
It seems to work and do what it says it is supposed to do, here is what I did: 1. Open the Shortcuts app 2. Tap on Gallery 3. Tap on Say Cheese, take a photo by asking SIRI 4. Now tap on "Get Shortcut" 5. Tap on the "Library" tab at the bottom left and you will now find the Say Cheese shortcut listed. 6. Double tap on it, you will propted to allow Shortcuts to access your camera and photos, make sure you allow it, the shortcut will run and a picture is taken. 7. In order to add the SIRI integration, go to Settings > SIRI and Search and look for the "Run Say Cheese" shortcut which should now show up under the heading "Suggested Shortcuts", double tap on it. 8. Record whichever phrase you want to use, it could be "Say Cheese" or "Take Picture" or, if in the shortcuts menu you change the actions to use the front camera instead of the back camera you could make a shortcut and call it "Take Selfi". 9. After you finish recording your phrase make sure you tap the "Done" button at the top right of that screen. 10. Try out your shortcut by bringing up SIRI and speak your phrase, e.g. "Take Picture", SIRI should say "running your shortcut", make sure you hold the phone still until you hear the sound of the camera. It will probably take 2 seconds or so.
