here are those steps:

1. go to the memo you wish to copy
2. change rotor to edit
3. swipe down or up with 1 finger to select all then double tap.
4. Swipe down to copy and double tap
5. go to where you want the message to be pasted.
6. change rotor to edit
7. swipe down to paste and double tap.

Hi Eden,

What do you mean by "I swear it worked correctly"? As far as I am
concerned it does work correctly and it definitely always has worked this
way, they just have to fix the labelling. I definitely hope they don't
make it so a double tap immediately after the initial double tap to start
arranging apps will go straight to delete. I think most of use the Move
function a lot more than the delete function so being able to swipe
up/down to Arrange Apps and do quickly do a double tap followed by another
double tap without having to swipe is definitely very nice and it gets you
to where you can move an app very quickly and efficiently.

Hi List and Apple Accessibility Team,

I just realized when I tried to explain to Todd how to delete apps that
there is a small mistake in how the "Activate" and "Move" options are
labelled.

What Voiceover actually says if you swipe up or down on an app and double
tap on "Arrange Apps" is this (I am using the Facebook app as an example:

Activate, default
Move Facebook

However, in this case "Activate" which would prompt you to delete the
Facebook app is actually not the default because if you double tap on
Arrange Apps and then double tap a second time immediately without
swiping up or down you end up activating the Move function and not the
delete function, so "Move" is actually the default.
. Therefore, Voiceover should say simply "Activate" or, in this context
it would actually be more accurate if Voiceover said "Delete" or "Remove"
and it should further say "Move Facebook, default".

In order to save myself some time I am CC'ing this email also to Apple
Accessibility, it's not a big deal and since nobody has brought this up
before I assume I'm the first one to actually notice this, but that
doesn't mean they can't fix it and in fact improve the
labelling/instructions by making it so the "Activate" option says
"Delete" or "Remove0..

Best regards,
Sieghard

Do not forget Microsoft has always had delete. The, Apple should have done so.

In Windows of any version has delete for years. Therefore, it should have

We will see what they do.

Hi Eden,

What do you mean by "I swear it worked correctly"? As far as I am concerned it
does work correctly and it definitely always has worked this way, they just
have to fix the labelling. I definitely hope they don't make it so a double tap
immediately after the initial double tap to start arranging apps will go
straight to delete. I think most of use the Move function a lot more than the
delete function so being able to swipe up/down to Arrange Apps and do quickly
do a double tap followed by another double tap without having to swipe is
definitely very nice and it gets you to where you can move an app very quickly
and efficiently.

Sieghard

Interestingly enough, I swear it worked correctly before but now does not.

Hi Todd,

I still think once you know the correct braille commands this will work
perfectly well, what I described in my email is not at all taking away from the
functionality of moving or deleting apps, it is simply a small labelling issue.

To all:

Now, you Apple staff, see where you are missing out.

You should have done this long before but never have you done so. Now, you
should do something about the issue here.

You cannot exclude deafblind like this. You have many customers who are
deafblind who are strong Braille users. Look at me a strong Braille user.
Rich McGann as a strong Braille user. Therefore, for all, you need to do more

Based on ADA Title III Public Accommodations, we deafblind have every right as

Hi List and Apple Accessibility Team,

I just realized when I tried to explain to Todd how to delete apps that there
is a small mistake in how the “Activate” and “Move” options are labelled.

What Voiceover actually says if you swipe up or down on an app and double tap
on “Arrange Apps” is this (I am using the Facebook app as an example:

Activate, default
Move Facebook

However, in this case “Activate” which would prompt you to delete the Facebook
app is actually not the default because if you double tap on Arrange Apps and
then double tap a second time immediately without swiping up or down you end up
activating the Move function and not the delete function, so “Move” is actually
the default.
. Therefore, Voiceover should say simply “Activate” or, in this context it
would actually be more accurate if Voiceover said “Delete” or “Remove” and it
should further say “Move Facebook, default”.

In order to save myself some time I am CC’ing this email also to Apple
Accessibility, it’s not a big deal and since nobody has brought this up before
I assume I’m the first one to actually notice this, but that doesn’t mean they
can’t fix it and in fact improve the labelling/instructions by making it so the
“Activate” option says “Delete” or “Remove”.

Best regards,
Sieghard
