RE: Warning about turning off iCloud sync in Voice Dream Reader!
Sandy, You cannot read in the background using VoiceOver, which is what you are trying to do by using the two finger flick down. That is the same as opening an Email and doing a two finger flick down in the message. If you have speak screen turned on, you could try flick down with two fingers at the status bar, then you could read in background but I'm doubting you would get the page changes, though you might. Did you go in and restore your purchases in Voice Dream? I suspect your Italian voice will come back if you do. If it doesn't, then, again, write to Winston. Voices had to be re-downloaded with version 4, but there may be some other glitch here. HTH, Richard As for getting the Enhanced Daniel working within Voice Dream, I could not do that either. That is worth a note to Winston. That may or may not have to do with Voice Dream. -Original Message- From: 'Sandratomkins' via VIPhone [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] Sent: Saturday, April 30, 2016 12:47 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Warning about turning off iCloud sync in Voice Dream Reader! hi Richard and all, I have the latest update of vdr on my iPhone 6 running 9.3. I had deleted VDR from my iPhone yesterday to try to sort all this out. Winston says it takes time for the files to become available again. I may have jumped the gun. I thought I had turned it off last night. So, I am going to turn it off again, wait until tonight to try opening anything, and if they are available, I'll send an apology to the list and to Winston for jumping the gun. Hi Richard, I'm glad you got your files back, but what a mess. That should be noted in the documentation for vDR somewhere if it isn't. I don't remember seeing it.
