Re: backing up jailbreak apps, settings, and the like
XBackup not only saves your apps, but your settings and what folders they were in. I was pleasantly surprised when I jailbroke this time, and all my settings restored from my XBackup app, worth the 4 bucks I spent a year ago. Mind you, a year ago it wasn't accessible, so I guess the saying goes, good things come to those who wait? Re: backing up jailbreak apps, settings, and the like
Yes there is, search for a app in cydia called XBackup It will save your apps in it's cloud, and if you have your jb apps in a folder, it will put them back in those folders when you restore them. And yes, it's completely vo accessible. I think it cost 3 bucks, but don't quote me on that one. I want to update my iphone to ios 5.1 and then jailbreak it, but I have some jailbreak apps, such as ischeduler that I bought, and if they aren't backed up, I'll have to repurchase. Is there a place where I can back this stuff up before I continue? Thanks, Courtney -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Re: backing up jailbreak apps, settings, and the like
That is true, but some apps aren't registered on cydia, they take you to there paypal page, or CC purchasing part, and then you have to email them for your activation to take plae. At least on a new device. If it's the same device, then your phone will recodnize it and just install with no issues. On May 25, 2012, at 6:49 PM, Raul A.
