RE: Annoying Emergency Update.

2023-10-29 Thread Carolyn Arnold
You could be right. I want no part of Apple cart or Apple Pay. I had to call
Accessibility one time to do something about Apple Pay just to get it out of my
hair.

I think it is great that they have it, and probably most people want it, but
they tend to be autocratic about pushing it whether we want it or not.

Carolyn, is the one new item in settings anything to do with Apple Card? Go
into first item in settings and go down to the card item and double tap and
follow through as if you want the Apple Card. At some point going through the
pages there will be a place to refuse. It should be much easier to say no, but
it’s not. That drives me crazy with a new device. Hope this helps you.

So, every time I check Settings, I get

One new item

I have gone to update emergency information. I have double
tapped done. Still, when I tap Settings, it says one new item. All the new
information is there. I have pressed done.
Yet, it still annoys me with that One New Item.

Am I going to have to call Apple Accessibility? I just don't

maybe if I did that, the new information would go away, and that I'd still be
annoyed with the message of One New Item.

Anyone have any ideas?
