RE: Unable to buy anything on Amazon using iPhone

2019-01-04 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
As Richard said, you can always use Safari on the iPhone and go to the Amazon
mobile site which should work. Of course this needs to be fixed in the app, but
as a hopefully temporary work-around this should work if you don't have a
computer or don't want to use it for some reason.

Hi all,

This is a very annoying problem. I recently made a purchase using the app and I
was only able to select the address by locating the "send to this address"
button on the screen, turning VoiceOver off, touching the screen once at the
exact location and immediately turning VoiceOver back on. Obghiously you have
to be very careful when doing this, as in my case the relevant button was very
close to the "delete this address" button, but I was lucky and it worked first
time. Of course, I realize that this workaround is not an acceptable solution
and I'll contact Amazon about it as well. I only mention it in case, like me,
you're really stuck and need to get the job done without waiting for access to
a PC.

For quite a while now I have been unable to buy anything from Amazon using my

can go no further. I then have to get my old Macbook and complete the purchase

Any help would be very much appreciated.

RE: Unable to buy anything on Amazon using iPhone

2019-01-03 Thread Richard Turner
I just discovered that too.
You can do it through the web, but not through their app.
I'd suggest calling Amazon customer service for people with disabilities at:
888-283-1678
And tell them about this and perhaps they can assist with the order.
I just had to finish an order with my computer through their web site.

Subject: Unable to buy anything on Amazon using iPhone

For quite a while now I have been unable to buy anything from Amazon using my
iPhone SE running the latest ios. I can get as far as selecting an address and
can go no further. I then have to get my old Macbook and complete the purchase
from there. Its driving me crazy. I have had several emails from Amazon
saying I should sign out and delete all Cookies which I think I did. I cleared
out the history on my iPhone or should i do something else.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards

Judy
