Re: pod cast comparing nearby explorer and the sendero gps app
Hello Mike and list, I listen to the podcast, and you said that the app and Da'Sean I GPS app doesn't announce the points of interest as you pass them. A slight correction on this: if you go into the settings, then you go under look around configuration, and then there should be an option that says points of interest or nearest point of interest under 15 mph, double tapping on that gives you a menu of options. If you wanted to always announce the PLI's as you pass them select the always announce option and then pressure back button and your settings will be saved. When you walk in the PLI information will be announced. I hope this helps some regards, Ben. Please excuse any dictation errors. Re: pod cast comparing nearby explorer and the sendero gps app
Yes, as I said in the pod cast, what is important to one person may not be to another, but at this point, nearby explorer is definitely more customizeable. I wish the seeing eye app would count down the distance to the next street, the way nearby explorer does. Glad you enjoyed it though, it was a fun show to do, and I got some exercise in the process, smile. Original message: Hi mike, thanks for the podcast. Re: pod cast comparing nearby explorer and the sendero gps app
i hope all of you that have suggestions and feature requests for Seeing Eye GPS are writing to Sendero to let them know. I don't expect they have time to monitor every Email list where these things are discussed. I do know they want to hear from people about what they want the app to do. Just my two cents worth, and it didn't even cost you that, Grin.
