Hi Richard. I will go with the talking time you mentioned. No, the Apple rep did not say anything about maximum announcements. I can live with on the hour and half hour and hope that more announcements are added in the future. I didn't realize that announcing the time as often as it did would be so beneficial to me. Thank you for suggesting this app and I will go through the settings as you mentioned. You are so very helpful for this group. p.s. I am still working to purchase the Orbit 40 sometime soon. I am looking to get a 12 month plan with a credit card. I know that PayPal has 6 months and will go with that if I can't find anything else. Chime hasn't been updated for more than two years. That wouldn't matter except that since iOS 10 it has read very inconsistently. Hi all, I'm trying to find an app that announces the time on the hour, half hour, and quarter hour using a human voice.
