Re: an iTunes and Apple ID question.
I am not sure I know exactly what you're saying, but I can tell you that you can use multiple Apple IDs on the same phone. Likewise you can use the same Apple ID on multiple phones. For example before iOS eight came out I would use my Apple ID for my phone as well as my children's phones. This was for apps and music.however each of my children have their own Apple ID so they could use it for things like iCloud, iMessage, and face time. The end result was that we could all buy music and apps under one Apple ID and only pay for them once. Yet each individual would have their own separate face time and iMessage and iCloud backups. Now with iOS eight, they can each have their own Apple ID for apps and music as well On Dec 7, 2014, at 4:33 PM, Matthew Bullis matthewbulli...@gmail.com wrote: Hello, since the arrangement works for me, my work phone is the one I use, and the Apple ID is one that the entire department uses, even though I'm the primary user of the content most of the time. Re: an iTunes and Apple ID question.
I can be more specific. I would want to put music from my personal cd collection onto another device, music that wasn't bought through iTunes. If I use iTunes to transfer this music to the new device, will it show up in another iTunes library on someone elses computer or phone, or is personal music computer-specific? RE: an iTunes and Apple ID question.
Hi Matthew, You have to be careful if you sync an iOS device with your library to put music on it. If said device has been synced with another library, then all that music will be gone and only your music will be on it. It is much better to give the other person the music on a USB stick so they can copy it into their itunes Media folder and add it to their own library and then they can select how they want to sync it. I would imagine that doing this, you couldn't buy anything without charging it to the company's credit card, which is probably not what you want if not buying work-related stuff. - Original Message - From: Raul A. Re: an iTunes and Apple ID question.
So basically if I register another device to use the work-bought apps on it, and I want to put some of my own music onto this new device, will other coworkers see it?
