Re: extra plug adapter
I'd say one of the key things, is use the original charging lead, even if in an outsider usb charger. Don't trust the cheapest ones, one failed and fried an iPad Mini once. It was a new Mini, and got on to Apple to tell them the new Mini didn't seem to work, so they replaced it. Sometimes, it's good to keep trap shut. I like the Anker products, too. I have one that plugs into the wall and has five USB ports. I think it is normally $25 or so on Amazon, but I got it on sale months ago for $18 and just saw it for $18 again a couple of days ago. They have ones with more ports, too. I like the products produced by Anker and available from Amazon. I have their adapter which plugs into a standard wall outlet and has two USB ports on it. any USB charger that plugs into the wall and delivers sufficient current will do fine. Just get something with enough ports for all your devices. Fazil, From the Amazon website, I'd select electronics from the drop-down filter category and in the search box type something like Anker USB adapter. Good luck. Re: extra plug adapter
Hi all, I went today to Radio Shack and bought their plug adapter that plugs into a standard wall outlet that has two USB ports so that I can charge several of my bluetooth devices like my bluetooth headset or my bluetooth speaker or even my mophia juice battery pack all at the same time. This 2 port adapter only cost 21 with tax. They didn't have the 4 port adapter so I got the 2 port adapter and this will work for me for what I have . I might at a later time purchase another 2 port adapter. Take care. Lori and the Gipper -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. Re: extra plug adapter
Hi Allen P, Thanks for your message about the USB port adapters. I went to Radio Shack and bought a 2 port adapter to plug into the wall outlet. Radio Shack stopped carrying the 4 port adapter. So with tax I paid $21 and this will serve my need to charge several of my bluetooth devices. Take care. RE: extra plug adapter
Hi Fazil, I agree with Allen regarding Anker products. They seem to be well-made and get very high ratings on Amazon across their product range of external batteries, cables or travel and car chargers. I also have their 2-port model which is plugged in behind the bed so my wife and I can have our iPhones plugged in at the same time and it works as it should. Since you are in Canada, below are direct links for Amazon.ca for their Dual-port and 4-port travel chargers and also for the 5-port family/desktop charger. The first two are just plugs without any cables which plug directly into an outlet just like the Apple USB wall plug. The 5-port desktop charger has a cable so it can sit on a desk or table where it's accessible and you plug it in to the wall outlet nearby with the cable. Since the Amazon links were quite long and would have most likely wrapped over multiple lines which sometimes makes them not work, I used the Google URL shortener to avoid this: Anker 20W Dual-Port USB Wall Charger/Travel Power Adapter with PowerIQ™ Technology http://goo.gl/PTjSF1 Anker 36W 4-Port USB Wall Charger/Travel Power Adapter with PowerIQ™ Technology http://goo.gl/8g83yN Anker 40W 5-Port Family-Sized Desktop USB Wall Charger with PowerIQ™ Technology http://goo.gl/QUgLHK Regards, Sieghard -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
