Hi Marty,

I did get it downloaded and installed by using iTunes. We've got some fires
going on and I think that's been screwing with our internet service, but
trying to download this 2GB file via WiFi just might have been too much for
the WiFi to handle. Anyways everything is okie dokie now.

Hi Alan,

I turned on automatic updates last night before going to bed, and this
morning I had the download error message waiting for me. I reset my network
settings and tried again, but the download stops at 91% and triggers the
error message. This moring I tried using the 5G network, but after going
back to bed and and coming back to it I'm going to attempt using the 2G
network just for the hell of it. So here we go again, I'll let you know
what happens.

Hi Mike,

I suspect a inconsistent wifi connection might be the source of your upgrade
issue. My wifi isn't great and I started the upgrade to iOS 14 last night at
about 10:17pm from the SE 2020's settings with the phone connected to my
computer with its lightning cable. It took several minutes for the download
to take place since it's 2.5GB and Voiceover did not give any progress
announcements. I have automatic upgrades turned off so the download took a
bit of time to complete. The screen text changed to something like checking
the download and verifying the upgrade before the phone restarted and
prompted me for my PIN. The total time from start to reboot was about 23
minutes.

Hopefully, turning on automatic updates will allow the upgrade to download
while you sleep and you'll successfully upgrade on your next attempt. Please
keep us posted.

Hi Richard,

I just got off the phone with Apple accessibility and they said I should use
iTunes to update being that it sounds like our WiFi is being intermittently
interrupted just enough to screw with this big download. So, right now it
sounds like it's downloading kind of steadily, but with a little hesitation
here and there. We'll see what happens in a few minutes. I'll keep y'all

Hi! Folks: concerning the iOS situation I am told that you can down the latest
one and it’s all inclusive.

However if you do not want their built in contact tracing running on your
phone, go in and make sure in your settings that it is permanently turned off.

There are instructional videos that are very descriptive voice wise and helping
you with that.

Hope this helps.

Have a great weekend.

I suspect a inconsistent wifi connection might be the source of your upgrade
issue. My wifi isn't great and I started the upgrade to iOS 14 last night at
about 10:17pm from the SE 2020's settings with the phone connected to my
computer with its lightning cable. It took several minutes for the download to
take place since it's 2.5GB and Voiceover did not give any progress
announcements. I have automatic upgrades turned off so the download took a bit
of time to complete. The screen text changed to something like checking the
download and verifying the upgrade before the phone restarted and prompted me
for my PIN. The total time from start to reboot was about 23 minutes.

Hopefully, turning on automatic updates will allow the upgrade to download
while you sleep and you'll successfully upgrade on your next attempt. Please
keep us posted.

We're having fire problems in the area, 4 fires within60 miles, and we could
