Re: notofications on apple watch

2019-02-06 Thread Anna Dresner
Hi,

Yes, if you are using your phone, notifications go to it. If you aren't, they
go to the watch. If you don't want a particular notification to ever go to the
watch, you can configure it not to by flicking to Manage when the notification
comes up on your watch and double-tapping, or from the app's settings in the
Watch app on your phone.

Best,
Anna

Unfortunately, you can't create custom sounds on the watch.
That would be neat if you could, but all you'll get is a ding.

RE: notofications on apple watch

2019-02-05 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
If you want to get the notifications for messages on the phone and with your
custom sounds you would have to turn this off on the watch, i.e. you’ll get
message notifications on the phone but not the watch. If they come to the watch
they won’t sound on to the phone. I also think Apple should give people the
option to have them play on both.

Hi.
You can get both. And sometimes, I leave and get a sound on the phone. It is
not as often with the watch there too. Perhaps they are too close to each
other, I’m not sure. I have not as yet found a way to get the sounds on the
phone for most of the messages, unless I’m using the phone. I E for reading, or
listening to music.

Re: notofications on apple watch

2019-02-05 Thread Greg Wocher
Hello,
The notification will show up on both the phone and the watch. However if you
dismiss it from the watch I believe it dismisses it from the phone as well. If
you just look at the notification on your watch it will also still be on the
phone.
