It seems most of the Voice using community of IOS users is unaware of the ability to add third party voices to the system, a process of education and advocacy could cause the company to commit to such a service. Just to add that you usually need to restart the device to get the voices on the list. They are just voices so they can be used with VoiceOver. I think maybe he was a bit confused and didn't check which list he was responding to. Voices available for Voiceover on the iPhone are those you found in Voiceover settings and no others. I have no idea what you are saying. This is an iPhone/iOS list and unless I am very mistaken the voices available to use with voiceover system wide are those Apple offers under Settings > Accessibility > Voiceover > Speech. Yes, you only get what Apple provides, but especially now that Eloquence is available which a few years ago most of us would have said Apple will never offer, there really are a lot of voices to choose from and very good ones.
