Isn't FaxBack just sending a return fax to the number you just received a fax
from, whatever protocol? Or is the term FaxBack more specific than that?

Are FaxBack and similar solutions standards-based or are they proprietary? I

Hi VOIPOPS Community

Do you know about any fax over internet solution that works? We tried multiple
ATA and multiple ATA configurations, sometime it works sometimes not.

Also, do you know about any eFax solution provider that works good.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Many thanks to you both.

I don’t need any particular number addressed, it is more on how to direct our
customers on who to talk to for erroneous blocking.

Right now, it is pretty clear who all to direct someone to when in the USA;
but, I have been a bit stumped on Canada. It sounds like I have been for good
reason.

I appreciate the information!

YouMail has a Canada user base and analyzes that traffic the same as the USA.
Their data is available a few different ways, depending on your needs. I.E.
blocking known spammers inbound, or feedback on what your own calling numbers
are doing outbound.

I am cognizant of S/S. I am more interested in the SPAM blocking like what

I have been searching for a couple of days but have only found info on the NCNs

[VoiceOps] FCC FRN Equivalents

2023-10-16 Thread Kili Land via VoiceOps
Hey all. Sorry to be a bother but my Google-fu is failing here.

I am trying to find something similar to CORES for CRTC, IFT, OFCOM/DCMS, etc.
We are wanting to add that information as part of the KYC/KYB that we do for
onboarding new customers.

And, for CRTC (and soon France), something similar to the FCC’s RMD database. I
found a list of registered telecom companies for CRTC; but, it’s just a list of
company names.

I know CRTC hasn’t gone as far as the FCC on issuing full blocks on violators
of S/S; but, does CRTC have a notification distro or site for S/S violators?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I tried two different carriers -- the first gave me an audio but no

a busy signal inline but also without signaling.

Am I just unlucky to have two carriers using the same route to China, or is
there an issue with calls from the US to China across the board?

If anyone from AT (especially the old BellSouth area) is here, maybe
you can save our wretched souls. It appears AT customers suddenly
can't call any of our numbers as of this afternoon, instead receiving
announcement "Your call cannot be completed at this time." Seems to
apply to AT Wireless customers, as well as AT fixed service
(VoIP/PRI) customers.

I suspect this is due to the fact that our numbers were previously
with AT (delivered on a handful of PRIs) but were ported out to
Comcast about 2 years ago. So obviously I cannot open a ticket with
AT, not being an AT customer. Comcast has already concluded there
is not much they can directly do about this.

The affected numbers are 256-824-1000 through 256-824-7999 (total of
7,000 numbers).

Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!
