Amazing Pics Screensaver???
Hi I was at Digilife Osborne Park today. They had a Mac Pro playing an amazing screensaver. I figured it was a screensaver because there was no application open in the dock. It was using photos which gradually zoomed out, more more photos appeared to form a mosaic. Then the mosiac becomes a new photo and it all starts over again. What a hopeless description! Please does anyone know what this was, how to get hold of it? Re: Amazing Pics Screensaver???
Hi Rod, I believe this is one of the default screen-savers that come with a mac. You should be able to access it by choosing one of the pictures screen- savers, and right under the preview, you should see Display style photo mosaic is one of the options. Hope this helps. Cheers. -James Guerrero On Jan 19, 2009, at 5:26 PM, Rod Blitvich wrote: Hi I was at Digilife Osborne Park today. They had a Mac Pro playing an amazing screensaver. Re: Amazing Pics Screensaver???
Sounds a lot like a standard OSX screensaver that I use. In System Preferences choose the photo folder you want to use (perhaps from iPhoto). Then click the middle Display Style icon for Mosaic. It actually sounds like the third on the right, rather than the middle one. It must look really great on a larger screen. Hello Peter, You don't say what version of Firefox or what OS X version you are using. OT Telephone numbers
I am sure that in the last week or so I saw some posts about finding out the phone number which was connected to a line in a house but you didn't know the number or have a phone connected to the line. Hope that makes sense. Someone gave a 13 number and/or a 1800 number I think which you could dial if you attached a phone to the line. Of course I didn't keep the posts and my last backup was after I had trashed and emptied the trash. I have tried the WAMUG archives but no go. Maybe OT posts don't get archived? Anyway I would be grateful someone would re-post the answer to the question.
