iMove Question ?
Hi folks, I have just noticed that my iMovie Events Projects folders are empty. Does this mean that in the latest iMovie they have moved to iMovie Library iMovie Theater ? Library Theater are not folders so I don’t know how to see what they contain. If not can I move my older movie files from Events Projects to Library Theater from my backup drive ? Mouse quirks
I have Mighty Mouse (with iMac) which is a great combination. I have one problem however which shows up only with After Effects. Mouse actions initiate large changes to the the scale of the preview window, both up and down, infuriating to jump to 200percent or 10 percent in the middle of something. It is related to the scroll function on the mouse and I have not found a setting or modus oprandi that will overcome it. My workaround is to use an earlier Bluetooth mouse the was to hand, the one with a button on either side and a small scroll roller on top, it may have been called a Magic Mouse. This has no such foibles and I just switch it on when using After Effects. Has anyone else noted this or similar problems? Ronni, A bit old fashioned here. I only use a hard wired USB connected mouse ( Logitech in fact). Tried the suggestions below with no change. Wondering if upgrade to 10.9.2 would help here? Re: Mavericks issues resolved.
Hi Bill, Mavericks is up to version 10.9.3 now. Have you checked that Logitech have updated drivers for Mavericks for your model mouse? Normally third-party software/add-ons etc need to be updated or they can cause issues. I would suggest you download install OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Update (Combo) http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1746 Do the normal preparation first: Repair Permissions - BackUp - Install the Combo - Repair Permissions after installation completes. You could also Go to System Preferences - Accessibility and for the mouse options or Trackpad options and set scrolling with inertia.
