There is an article on LibreOffice.
They are saying it is as good as if not better than MS Office.
And therefore will be the best alternative to MS Office 2016.
The other bonus is that it is free !

Yet another bonus is the huge number of files types it opens (or claims to
open). Ancient and forgotten formats such as Microsoft Works, ClarisWorks,
FullWrite Professional, WordPerfect and many, many more are all listed as being
supported. LibreOffice is handy to have around for that purpose alone if you
have old files that can’t be opened any more.

The only possible problem with using it as a full substitute for Office is when
it comes to sharing a document with a user of the real Office. It’s inevitable
that some slight change in document formatting will occur, especially in
complex documents. This invariably leads to complaints from the Office user. If
you’re not sharing documents with anyone, LibreOffice is just fine (but then so
are all the Apple products).

gone, without someone who has the time and resources to make it happen. We
have a tiny committee of people with full-time jobs. We have a big-enough

I told them I would like a PDF Account emailed like every other service

They refused to comply, so I said “OK keep sending me the paper account then”.

 Hi Severin Stephen,

This isn't just a file locker like Dropbox. Think of it as a Digital PO
Box. You would have your own address which won't be an email address but it
will be like a PO Box address. letters will be either sent through the
digital service by companies or uploaded for your convenience.
You will then be able to log into your mail box from a computer or mobile
device and read your letters or print them, pay bills, store documents,
prepare parcels or letters for posting.

If I was overseas (if only) :( I would no longer need a physical address
to receive my Australian mail or someone to collect it for me, I would be
able to just log in wherever I am and pay what ever bills I need too.
I would no longer have to rush home and pick up a sorry we missed you
card and then to the post office hoping to get there before it closes.
All sounds good huh?... BUT! ...
At first the above all sounded good to me, and I was very interested in
Australia MyPost Digital Mailbox, and thought this is a really good idea...
I might jump onboard... Until I started more thoroughly reading of the
Privacy Policy and doing some research!!
Some parts I am concerned about: /Quote: The evasive tracking, the use of
web beacons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_bug. In 2007 Facebook faced
a backlash when it introduced web beacons
 http://www.pcworld.com/article/140182/article.html into its service,
because they can be used to track you outside of the service
 http://www.allaboutcookies.org/faqs/beacons.html. /End Quote
To 'Opt Out' of Marketing - you can NOT do this online, you have to Phone
 or Write a letter.
Also it is 'Free' now... But how long before they start charging us to use
the service?.. and if we decide NOT to pay will access to 'Our Data' be
 locked from us?
Worth having a read of the EFA Evaluation at the link below.
EFA Evaluation: Australia Post Digital Mailbox beta Privacy Policy

 https://www.efa.org.au/2013/06/18/efa-evaluation-australia-post-digital-mailbox-beta-privacy-policy/
Also here's an article on it...

 http://www.theage.com.au/digital-life/digital-life-news/australia-post-bid-to-control-your-digital-life-20120326-1vttc.html
I feel this could be good, and we are moving to a digital world, but
privacy, security safety is a big concern for me. And at this time I
don't feel this Digital Mailbox gives me that.

This of course is only my opinion and not to be taken as correct, I could
 be totally wrong!
