When the experts are looking at Brett’s problems perhaps they could advise me
as to how I can combine Mailboxes.

Thanks

Mail

2019-01-09 Thread Brett Curtis
I’ve just returned to using Mail after a long break.
My question is regarding opening a new sub folder to my business email.
Although I did this successfully a few months ago, I’m now having problems.
I click on the mailbox and choose “New mailbox”
I name the new one and press OK. It appears for a second or so at the bottom
of the mailbox section, then disappears.
If I try again, using the same name, it won’t let me, saying a mailbox of that
name already exists.
I can create a subfolder mailbox to one of the existing 3 sub mailboxes but
cannot move them up in the hierarchy.

Re: ipad wifi problem

2019-01-09 Thread Ronni Brown
Hi John,

Make sure that your router is on and you're within range
If you're too far from your router, you can't get a signal, so make sure that
you're within range.

Make sure that Wi-Fi is on and you can see your network

Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and make sure that Wi-Fi is on. Tap the name of your Wi-Fi
network to join. A blue checkmark beside a network name means that you're
connected.

If you see Auto Join Disabled under your Wi-Fi network name, tap it turn on
Auto-Join.

Check for issues with your Wi-Fi network

If iOS detects an issue with your Wi-Fi connection, you might see a Wi-Fi
recommendation under the name of the Wi-Fi network that you're connected to.
For example, you might see the alert "No Internet Connection." To get more
information, tap the Wi-Fi network.

Check your cables and connections

If you still can’t connect to your network or get online, make sure that your
router is connected to the modem and turned on.

Restart

Try restarting your iOS device, router, and cable or DSL modem. To restart your
router or modem, unplug it, then plug it back in.

After you restart each device, see if you fixed the issue.

If you still can’t connect to your Wi-Fi Network

Still can’t connect?

Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network
Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and
VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

Kind regards,

Ronni

ipad wifi problem

2019-01-09 Thread John Thompson
My older ipad, the model following Version 2 and sometimes referred to as ‘ipad
new’, will not log onto the wifi network. Have no idea what could have gone
wrong as nothing has been changed. Worked fine yesterday but today will not
log in. The ipad is too old for the lates OS upgrade but has been working well
up to now, with the few odd exceptions.

Has anyone any suggestions.

I hope a question about the iPad app store is not too OT. I tried this morning
and just now, several hours later, to download an app. But after clicking the
‘Get’ button, the little progress indicator just kept whirling around.

Has anyone else successfully acessed it today?

Mystified,
