Harman/Kardon iSub
Hi all My iSub issues have progressed from the hum I mentioned months ago as I found when trying to use the iSub this morning, the power supply blew out. No more subwoofing for a while :( Anyone know where I can find a genuine replacement for the 15V 2A transformer to power the USB edition of iSub rather than the 16V or 17V Soundsticks transformer? Regards Christian
Re: Harman Kardon iSub
Hi All Anyone know who would be responsible for repairing Harman Kardon iSub's, the USB Mac specific versions. I'd imagine it would be the same people who fix JBL Creatures and HK Soundsticks. I'm just wondering as my iSub has developed an unusual 'buzz' like the sound electronic interference/noise that continues when computer is off. Only way to silence it is to mute the computer while it's on. Any ideas? Regards Christian My USB Yamaha speakers (with Sub) developed a very similar problem. However, I never got around to trying to get them fixed up. I can say though that as an interim solution I connected my speakers to the computer via the 3.5mm headphone jack and the problem was solved, the sound is perfect. I'm guessing that this problem must be something to do with the USB connection, rather then the speakers themselves. Haha, I probably haven't been much help here, but anyway... Good Luck. Thomas.

Regards Christian Hi Christian I don't know if it's changed but when I was working at AppleCentre Joondalup we had to send them back to the suppliers who had them fixed there. So whether or not they have someone local who fixes them I'm not 100% sure. I can find out for you and let you know if you like. Let me know if you don't hear otherwise and I'll look into it for you.
