Hi Julie, sorry I don't know anything about MacScan but others here
may be able to comment. I've only used Malwarebytes a couple of times
literally and years ago at that. There may be some online review
comments that help with this understanding.

I have been using Avast Pro for about 2 years and I am very happy.
It has saved me more than once.
This year I upgraded to the Family Pack for 3 Macs (only cost an extra $10.00)
