Peaches and Apples

2012-07-02 Thread Ben Sandifer
I decided to see if a fresh Georgia peach could be peeled without breaking
the peel, like an apple. My attempt failed very early in this experiment.
After wondering what causes that, I ran this by the boys at the lab and came
up with 3 conclusions (A) peaches are about as much like apples as dogs are
like giraffes (2) this only works when there is someone around to say
congratulations and (C) it must be your gauge

Air Conditioning

2012-07-02 Thread Sande Riggs
I appreciate the info on the sound stages. I knew they had filmed even porch
and sidewalk scenes on the stages. But i didn't know they still existed so i
was sure glad to here about them. Makes a visit to California seem worth it .
Can people visit this? With it over 100 here and air conditioning working
overtime sure does make mayberry a welcome sight for sore eyes. Thank you for
telling me abot the sets and all. I read every day. Love it. Btw knowing
that the person who owns Aunt Bee's car has loved it so much.

Aunt Bee and Opie

2012-07-02 Thread Ken Anderson
I have a question regarding Aunt Bee and Opie. Were there ever any scenes
that actually showed Aunt Bee giving Opie a kiss or tucking him in bed at
night or anything like that. I know she hugged him and patted him on his
behind when he gave her the salt and pepper shakers, but I just can't
recall any scenes that showed any really embracing between the two. There
must have been some, I would think. I think I recall him giving Aunt Bee a
hug while saying good night. Can anyone help me out on this. I would like
to capture a few screen shots for my presentations.
