One of my favorite animals in Mayberry was Dolly, the horse, who didn't want to quit her job of pulling the milk wagon. ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.wbmutbb.com/

I just thought of a few more animals in Mayberry. How about the farmer who had cows and a bull stolen by Luck Jensen and the episode where they had a lot of dogs. There was a neighbor of the Taylors that had a cat and they feared that it would get the birds that Opie was raising. Goober had a dog that he thought could talk. Andy would shoot crows and rats in the junkyard every now and then. Otis came riding in on a cow in one episode. The milkman had a horse that pulled his wagon. Possums were mentioned every now and then as a tasty dish for dinner. The man who had his home foreclosed on had chickens. ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.wbmutbb.com/
