Animals and smells

 Gomer heard a "Lake Loon" when he and Barney were lost in the woods 
and then they "caught and cooked" a pheasant

Ernest T Bass went in the woods to kill a mockingbird
Opie raised three birds: Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod
Ernest T was going to live in a cave with chipmunks and squirrels
Dud Walsh went fox hunting
Charlene was going to cook some fish muddle
Andy "talked " to a hawk
A bear treed the prisoner Andy had released
Otis and Andy thought Barney's ink blot looked like a bat
Barney was concerned about going crazy from bats laying eggs in his hair 
Andy talked about hunting geese when given the shotgun by an ex- convict

Andy, the mayor and others talked about catching carp
One of Barney's martial art moves resembled a snake

Andy smelled like a gardenia blossom after Ellie sprayed him with perfume.
Gas from the heater that Andy was trying to fix

Odors and Animals

 All of the odors and animals that have been named were great
choices! I have an animal and odor that go together and another animal
also. I'm not sure if anyone listed these yet. The animal and odor that go
together are the fish that Opie caught and he placed it in the desk drawer
in the courthouse. People thought the smell was from Barney painting. The
other animal was the stuffed owl that Andy and Goober used to break the
power of the Darlings seeing the owl at night that was an omen that one of
the Darling boys would marry Helen Crump. Since the first owl was seen at
night, seeing the second one in the daytime meant that the first sighting
was canceled out.

Animals on TAGS

I am a little behind in answering this question about animals on TAGS, but I 
was watching the Cave Rescue episode this evening and heard Barney mention two. 
 First was his mention of bats to Thelma Lou and how bats can lay eggs in your 
hair and make you go crazy.  Barney then mentions that moths can do the same 
thing.  I believe someone else responded with bats, but I'm not sure if anyone 
mentioned moths.

Odors in Mayberry

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this one, but how about the natural gas smell 
coming from the broken heater in the courthouse that Gomer was attempting to 
fix when he faints from the fumes.  Luckily Andy came in and saved Gomer's 
life, which leads to countless "good-deeds" being done by Gomer to thank Andy 
for saving his life.  :-)
I'll bet the old Rimshaw house had some "very interesting" smells...especially 
moonshine being distilled.  :-)

Has anyone mentioned Jubel Fosters barn that burned?  I am sure that had a
unique smell with all the animals and "corn" he had stored in there.  He
also had some paint too.  Then there was the time the gas lines leaked and
Gomer "saved" Andy and made them all fare and square.  I am not getting all
my digests from time to time and if these were mentioned I must have missed
them.
