No, it's because that domain has untrusted servers (like amaranth.ts.wikimedia.org, prototype.wikimedia.org and wikitech.wikimedia.org) and untrusted content (like bug-attachment.wikimedia.org) which could compromise the security of the SUL system and give attackers access to users' global accounts. Adding these two wikis may not be a good long-term solution, but I'd say it's certainly acceptable as a short-term stopgap so it at least works for now while someone fixes CA to handle this properly. However, if MediaWiki is not installed in the document root, the data directory will be different for web scripts and command line maintenance scripts, which will fail with cryptic SQL errors. 2) If the database file is inaccessible to MW post-install, it will be transparently recreated and pageviews will result in SQL error messages. An equivalent of MySQL's Can't contact database server would be much more appropriate. So my proposal is to check DB file accessibility in DatabaseSqlite constructor, and throw exceptions instead of creating useless empty databases. The Exhibit JavaScript code seems to interfere with the onChange callback function declared/used in slider.js and sliderskin.js. Consider the following scenario:
1. EvilUsername registers
2. EvilUsername is blocked by an administrator (autoblock is active).
Special:BlockList now lists EvilUsername and #number, which is the autoblock of
the (nonpublic) IP address. The latter contains the username in the summary
('Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by
EvilUsername.')
3. An Oversight user changes the block, adds hideuser (all user contributions
are now hidden, as well as log entries containing the username). The block for
EvilUsername is now hidden on Special:BlockList, but the autoblock remains
public. Remember, that the autoblock on the list contains EvilUsername.
This scenario is not unrealistic, it actually happens quite often, because
there are much more sysops than oversight users and it's generally a good
strategy to block users with evil usernames as fast as possible, before they
have a chance to edit pages (vandalism is usually reverted with rollback, which
means that the revert summary contains the evil username and has to be hidden
manually). Expecting sysops to wait for an oversighter to perform the block is
a non-solution.
There are potentially two ways of solving this:
a) Add an option to hide blocks on Special:BlockList (not prefered, as
oversighters must remove the block manually)
b) Automatically hide the autoblock on Special:BlockList after a block with
hideuser (prefered solution, though it may be technically difficult to
implement it). I don't see any reason for implementing a) if b) was
implemented.

I wanted to create an adapter to use a template, which has pipe-trick
structures, like {{{Domain|{{{Lang}}. To handle a general situation, I
always needed to pass all parameters, though some of them might have empty
values, like |Lang=english| Domain= }} or |Lang=english|
Domain={{something}} }}. It's appeared, that at the moment, when a template
resolver identifies Domain parameter in the call, it raises a flag, that
Domain value exist, so it shouldn't look any more in the second leg of a
pipe {{{Domain|{{{Lang}}. The only option so far - is to get rid of all
pipe-tricks in the used template and use #if: instead (which works).

The browser, OS and screen resolution fields are already filled for you. That data can be considered private. Note that the page doesn't specify what will be done with the provided information. It only affects the Recent Changes table. In fact, with the new API parameters, it is possible for a bot, each time, to choose whether to make a bot edit or not. The same applies for other rights, there is no way to fully and accurately determine what rights a user had when they made an edit, only their current rights. If however, you want to see edits based on the user's current rights, this can possibly be done, but might be a very expensive query. Also changes made by specific user.
