Santhosh was arguing against standalone chillus and I was arguing for it. However, decision has been made by UTC years back. Now it is time for implementations to follow the standard so that a standard will be beneficial to its users. Wikimedia should not get stuck in Unicode 5.0 and it should progress to later versions as the Unicode standard progresses. I don't have any disagreement in this. And I am not for continuing mediawiki or any software in any older unicode versions. Yes, I had disagreement on UTC's decision. But that is irrelevant now. I want to support new version of unicode eveywhere. I have asked the designers of the font to update to new versions.They were not ready and they had disagreement with UTC's decision. Recently they told me that they are not for sticking in 5.0 and want to move forward. New versions of the fonts will be released.. Not only with the characters in question, but also supporting new characters in version of Unicode. I don't think UTC will take any decision on equivalence. Till then I wanted to keep the two fonts Meera and Raghumalayalam as non default fonts. But to add them, I have to use the character conversion. I asked Shiju many tiimes whether I can remove them. But I did not get clear answer. Will be reintroduced when the upstreams release new vesion with latest unicode support. Now Malayalam got only AnjaliOldLipi as option. Malayalam community(that includes me) can file new bug if any other fonts need to be added(should be opensource, well maintained with active upstream). Please confirm and close the bug. I also think he has a point to enable it and be inclusive to those 1%. In case of Narayam, since its fairly stable doesnt cause any harm to 99%(though you might not want it), i dont think its an issue. What is required is the documentation link which can tell you(and other 99% folks who dont need it) how to disable it (not many would have noticed in editing prefs), so if one feels useless resource trashing, they can feel free to disable it. Collapsibletabs only works when global=true is set on it, and collapses the history and any other tabs if the browser window is (or becomes) too narrow. There was a bug that broke it in 1.18wmf1 and I'm not sure whether the fix for that made it into 1.18 or not, so it may be broken in 1.18. Collapsibletabs does not unhide the stuff in the dropdown. More precisely: 1) I write some free text in a text only paragraph 2) then indent items of an existing list outside the text paragraph using the indentation button 3) then I hit undo What I expect: The indentation is undone. What happens instead: a) The text is removed (i.e. the second but last action is undone) b) but the indentation remains. c) More undo clicks will just go on undoing actions before the indentation. After going a few times back and forth using the undo and redo buttons, the editor seems completely messed up: d) I cannot add further new lines at the end of the page e) The blinking cursor lags by one character (i.e. when I type david, the cursor will be between i and d) f) Eventually, the characters I type are no longer displayed, though the blinking cursor moves when I type (even advances from line to line without me pressing enter) Speculation: When I show the preview view after step 3), the indentation has correctly been undone there (in addition to other actions having been undone). So maybe this is a bug only in the display part, since the code is apparently correctly changed. To see how it worked, I decided to try to fix a bug. I am sending the svn diff resulting text. It works for me, tested on Firefox 8 and since it's standard CSS it should work everywhere. I have tried to follow the coding style in the file, however, I do not know if I've done it OK.
