[Bug 48168] Create list of eligible voters for 2013 Board election
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48168 James Alexander jalexan...@wikimedia.org changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED CC||jalexan...@wikimedia.org Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #7 from James Alexander jalexan...@wikimedia.org --- we are not using SPI this year as far (the key will be given to outside counsel but the whole system will remain on our servers). I'm going to reopen for now because it sounds like we still have some issues in the lists. Making sure that the voter list includes people who have 300 edits globally but not on the local wiki is vital. My guess is that we have to remove the min-edits piece from the config completely (and probably the config piece about user creation data as well since they could have 'just' created their meta account or something). Risker/Philippe/others. Do we remember if we traditionally had everyone voting on their local wikis? I know that previous elections allowed you to vote when not all of your edits were on the same wiki as long as it was a global account (and used the 20 votes within the past couple months rule, it's basically the exact same requirements this year as last). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49015 --- Comment #5 from Ryan Holliday ryan.holli...@gmail.com --- On English Wikivoyage (and some other language versions) a template was introduced to suppress the main title display and display the title elsewhere in a page banner. To do so the template uses: {{DISPLAYTITLE:span style=display:none{{FULLPAGENAME}}/span}} ...which is valid according to method #2 of http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:FAQ#How_do_I_hide_the_main_page_title.3F However, this approach has recently stopped working, and the title is now display at the top of the page and in the banner. https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49015 --- Comment #6 from Ryan Holliday ryan.holli...@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #3) Caused by the fix for bug 26547. If I'm understanding that bug correctly, using the approach outlined in http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:FAQ#How_do_I_hide_the_main_page_title.3F is no longer a valid way to suppress a page title. Is there an alternative? If not, the fix committed for 26547 seems problematic as it breaks functionality that has been documented as a valid way to suppress a page title. Note: we could obviously suppress the main page title display via CSS, but that cannot be done on a page-by-page basis without a new page-specific CSS rule for each of the hundreds or thousands of pages updated, unless I'm overlooking something. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 49045] New: Add lat/lon to exif
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49045 Web browser: --- Bug ID: 49045 Summary: Add lat/lon to exif Product: Commons App Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: iOS (iPhone or iPad) Assignee: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org Reporter: maar...@mdammers.nl CC: br...@wikimedia.org, mh...@wikimedia.org Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: --- I'm using the Commons app on an Iphone5. The app should add lat/lon info to the exif data. Even better would be to also add the location template, but a bot also does that if this info is in the exif. At http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/tools/WikiSnaps/Classes/SourcePickerViewController.m?r1=84813r2=84892 you can see how Derk-Jan fixed it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
