From the edit summary box, the tab order is now: 1. the link minor edit beside the 'minor edit' checkbox. 2. Save Page button 3. Review your changes button Then three tabs for the links in the footer of this windows. Tabbing to the _link_ minor edit is a bug in the current implementation. Unless there is a good reason to do otherwise, the tab order should be the same as the source editor (muscle memory). But they are really distracting because one scrolls the mouse accidentally, in all the horizontal white stripe, i mean one scrolls the mouse over any place at the same height of the screen that Edit button, then Wild Edit source button appears. This is horrible. Please, make it harder to find. This distracts the eye a lot, i'm tottally serious. Plase, don't take this for a joke, i'm serious, the editors may have another way to do that, for example clicking on a small STATIC button for visual editing, that would be GREAT! I think possibly the difference in our opinions about links is that you are approaching this from a make it like a popular word processor that can edit Wikipedia whereas I'm thinking of it from make it an editor for Wikipedia that works like word processors. I saw bugs that are similar to this one, for example Bug 51289, but nothing
exactly like this one.
References that are added by templates are not recognized by the references
tool. I am not talking about templates like the English Wikipedia's {{cite
web}}, which go inside the ref tag, but about template that add the ref tag
itself (with {{#tag:ref}}).
This can be in infoboxes (Bug 51289) or in any other template. The Hebrew
Wikipedia, for example, uses such a template, {{הערה}} very extensively,
because mixing right-to-left text with left-to-right XML tags like ref is
very hard to edit. This means that most of the references there are not usable
for reusing in the Use an existing reference.
(This also means a bunch of other things, but I'll report them separately.)

In fact you're even working against your own goals with this change: In the beta phase where feedback by editors is needed most you're now offering a preference to disable VE. When VE becomes stable and feedback is not that necessary anymore the preference will be gone, and the same discussion you're trying to mute with this change will start again.
