You could also try querying overpass turbo, or more specifically - the CSV output of that query as described here. CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTIONWhen looking for a value, the suggester displays label and description in the language of the user interface. When several labels are identical, and the descriptions doesn't exist in the user'sselected user-interface language, it is difficult for the user to choose which item to use.

In some other cases, the item doesn't show up at all in the list.

To fully support wikibase changes in the watchlist, we need to insert a null revision and have a unique revision id to insert into the rc_cur_id field of the recentchanges table.

It may be possible to use a hacky GROUP_BY clause in the watchlist query, a subquery, or other uglyness to make it work without the null revision, but that would make the watchlist query a bit slower.

When I have this problem this indicates to me that someone needs to assign descriptions to the items in question (and I've done that on several instances).

Of course not final solution but temporary solution. TASK DESCRIPTIONWhen looking for a value, the suggester displays label and description in the language of the user interface. When several labels are identical, and the descriptions doesn't exist in the user's language, it is difficult for the user to choose which item to use.

In some other cases, the item doesn't show up at all in the list.

It would be great if the display of the label and description could be adapted depending on the babel boxes of the user. Then, if the description doesn't exist in my language, it can be displayed in my second language, or the third, etc.

This is the solution? Purge the pages? I already do it but now we have an average of 80-90 pages per hours. Thinking about MariaDB capacity -- we could get ahead of potential capacity issues by designing a schema that EventBus could carry to hadoop and other storage systems.  We probably want this data in hadoop anyway and if we end up causing capacity issues in MariaDB, we'll have a fallback.

@Eileenmcnaughton, I assume you are talking about the patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/356646. The key is this line in Wikibase' composer.json that does the mapping:

"Wikibase\\Lib\\": "lib/includes"

This line already exists. Thats why you don't see it being touched in the patch. @daniel this happened again yesterday evening (Montreal time, and we got some pages for the slow slaves, not being able to catch up with the master) as you can see on Jaime's comments. 
I am in Wikimania, so if you like we can try to discuss a bit how to get this properly fixed in code, as the hack we have done (throttling this with semisync replication on the slow slaves) might have secondary effects that we are not aware of.

Someones edits the "Berlin" page on your wiki and there's also a Wikibase change to an Item used on the "Berlin" page. In that case both the local edit to the "Berlin" page and the edit done to the Wikibase item will show up in your watchlist.

To avoid the continuous lagging on non-directly pooled hosts (passive dc codfw, labs, other hosts replicating on a second tier), I have forced a slowdown of writes to go at the pace of the slowest slaves of eqiad with semisync replication, adding automaticaly a pause of up to 100ms between writes. I do not know if that will have an effect such as an increase of the job queue pendding tasks or a slowdown on the rate of edits. Actually, we want to keep a standard common set of extensions on wikis, so forget the Topic: namespace and find a new name.
