  I reopened this, as WCQS is again giving 502 Bad Gateway error, though 
slightly different behavior for me. wcqs-beta.wmflabs.org resolves, but gives 
the error as the response when clicking the "Run" button.

  There is a page on Commons c:SpecialNewItem 
 which makes no sense on 
Commons, as new items are created only for file namespace pages. Creating the 
page causes a Database error ("[4b6bbcde-9a8e-4367-bc67-eae560720827] 
2022-01-26 22:40:45: Fatal exception of type "Wikimedia\Rdbms\DBQueryError"").
  
  Other "special" pages that do not make sense in SDC context and should be

  When sorting on a label, the sort order is the default (English?) one, 
instead of the sort order specific to the language specified by `SERVICE 
wikibase:label`. This affects the usability of results in wiki lists.
  
  Example query: https://w.wiki/4kNf
  
  Expected result: entries Șibot, Șona, Șpring and Șugag should have been 
placed between Săsciori and Teiuș instead of at the end, because the label 
language was specified as "ro".

  Tests aren’t disabled but the whole CI test is not marked as failure if that 
single test fails due to TimeoutError. As sparql interface is part of the 
framework and may be used by scripts it is necessary to test it. These timeouts 
seems to be an upstream issue (from Pywikibot's point of view) and should be 
solved anyway. Bot owner may expect the sparql interface working.

  Instead of manipulating the SSR HTML in PHP, we might be able to add the 
necessary information to the wrapper element (which we need anyways, for 
mounting – see T296202#7652549 
 and the next comment 
there), and then use some CSS like `.wikibase-entitytermsview-noneditable 
.wikibase-sectionedit { display: none; }` to hide the sectionedit component 
when the wrapper element indicates the page is non-editable.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  When hydrating the server-side rendered markup, Vue produces warnings and 
errors about some mismatches between the virtual DOM it’s now constructed and 
the actual DOM that was once generated by SSR. Currently, we hide these 
warnings and errors, but it would be nice to not emit them in the first place.
  
  The main error seems to be related to the use of the 
`…` tags in the `Sectionedit` component, which 
some Wikibase PHP code (`ToolbarEditSectionGenerator::enableSectionEditLinks( 
$text, $isEditable )`) either replaces with their content (editable) or removes 
including their content (not editable).

  Can this be closed? It seems to be resolved by disabling those tests. In any 
case, relying on an external service during testing seems to be bad practice 
and is likely to fail again if re-enabled. Especially if that dependency is 
WDQS, which is known to be unstable in terms of response times.

  I discussed this a bit with @Tarrow and it might be trickier than expected. 
Apparently, the termbox HTML sometimes ends up in the parser cache (there is 
some PlaceholderExpander mechanism, but it’s not expected to be used all the 
time?), and there is also a `termboxVersion` option by which the parser cache 
may be split. @Jakob_WMDE would probably know more in this area. However, I 
don’t think we’ll have time to figure this out fully before the lexicographical 
data hike starts, so I think this might have to wait until March or so.
  
  Fortunately, this doesn’t need to block the Termbox Vue 3 rollout at all. For 
now, we can add a wrapper element in our own JS, just before calling 
`.mount()`; the only disadvantage of this is that the server-rendered HTML 
lacks this extra element, but that difference should be acceptable for a while. 
We can write the JS code in such a way that it detects the wrapper if it’s 
already there, and then add the wrapper on the PHP side later, when we figure 
out how best to do it. (If the JS can handle HTML with or without wrapper, that 
should also make the PHP side easier – we might not have to worry about the 
parser cache as much in that case.)
  
  So: for now, make the JS add the wrapper element inside which we mount the 
app; later, also make the PHP add this wrapper element to the HTML it 
generates. (I don’t think we want to add this HTML to the SSR-generated HTML, 
that should still start with ``.)

  There was a problem with sitelinks having been newly added to Wikidata, but 
this should have been fixed since about a week ago.
  
  Is it known whether new instances of this issue occurred _this week_? Or is

mkwiki should be good enough to fix it.

  Just a followup from somebody coming to Wikidata dumps in 2021: it is really 
confusing that dumps do not include hashes, especially because `EntityData` 
seems to show them now for all snaks (main, qualifiers, references). So when 
one is debugging this, using `EntityData` as a reference throws you of.
  
  I would vote for inclusion of hashes in dumps as well. I think this is 
backwards compatible change as it just adds to existing data in there. Having 
hashes in all snaks makes it easier to have a reference with which you can 
point back to a snak in your own system (or UI).

the changed mounting behavior in Vue 3. The SSR contains HTML like ``, and Wikibase adds that to its

'.wikibase-entitytermsview' )`, which under Vue 2 was expected to replace the 
element matching that selector (the ``). In Vue 3, this tries to mount 
the app inside / below that element instead, which produces the hydration 
mismatches, but also the following DOM when the hydration is finished:

  We can’t just change the `.mount()` call to use the selector 
`.wikibase-entityview-main` instead, because that would wipe the other content 
in there (the statements). I think we need to introduce a new wrapper div. And 
I think we need to do that in Wikibase.git (not in the SSR), so that we can 
deploy these changes at the same time:
  
  - Wikibase PHP code emits HTML with an extra div around the ``
  - Termbox JS code (Wikibase submodule) mounts under that extra div
  
  And I think we’ll want to make sure that this div is in the part of the HTML 
that doesn’t end up in the parser cache.

  To reproduce:

  - Start adding another statement for the "translation" property
  - Copy the URL to a sense from another statement and paste it into the field, 
e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Lexeme:L1230#S1
  
  Expected result: It behaves the same as when the ID of a sense is entered 
(e.g. `L1230-S1`) - the URL is recognised and the corresponding sense is shown.
  Actual result: The error "No match was found" is displayed.

  I think we can call this resolved, we have the proper access logs again. It 
looks like a totally different source (not affected by the Puppet code we 
fixed) is also syncing over some access logs, which now get overwritten again, 
but right now I don’t really want to go hunting for that.

  One small thing: The CSV download button currently does not make the URL 
accessible to the users. If it were available, users could easily download the 
list via a script and work with it programmatically. Is there anything that we 
can do about this? The path and filename should be able to remain as stable in 
the future as possible. Ideally, the filename would only contain lower case 
characters and omit the ("Qurator_" part).
