Why are you not concentrating on Cochrane reports first? That would make so much more sense! I've had students working on PubMed, even identifying named entities is quite challenging, we found multiple cases with 5+ different ways that a name of the same person was written, as the journals all have different rules as to whether or not first names are written out or abbreviated, etc. Journals are quite sloppy about putting metadata into PubMed and they seldom correct errors. It's a great resource for a human medical researcher or practicioner, who can determine if an article makes sense or not. Csisc added a comment. We already discussed this as Data Engineering and Semantics Research Unit, University of Sfax. We should include there the basic and taxonomic properties. By Basic, we mean elementary and generic relation types. By Taxonomic, we mean non-symmetric relation types. If the relation type passes these two criteria, we can include it in Classification Part. For example, "different from" is symmetric. If X is "different from" Y, then Y is also "different from" X. So, it cannot be included in Classification Part. For example, "cites work" is not a generic relation. In fact, it cannot be assigned to an item about a football game or a portrait. So, it cannot be included in Classification Part. The days should not be aggregated as qualifiers of a unique Wikidata statement particularly if the references of these statements are not similar. What I said is "Due to the existence of False friends between Modern Standard Arabic and Arabic dialects and due to the existence of several morphological particularities within the Arabic dialects, some Arabs can misunderstand some words within a text in Modern Standard Arabic. Adding labels to Wikidata entities will prevent such misunderstandings". Csisc added a comment. @1339861 This is not always accurate. Moroccan Arabic is used in Education in Morocco. There are also efforts in this context in Algeria, in Tunisia, and in Lebanon. Furthermore, there are many resources that are written in Arabic dialects/languages since the early 20th Century. Scientists in Tunisia have even found school lessons, mystic poems, religious speeches, and administrative information written in Tunisian during the 18th and 19th Century. We will publish a paper about that. However, this is not the most important reason about adding labels in Arabic dialects to Wikidata. In fact, there are many false friends between Arabic dialects and Modern Standard Arabic. Adding labels in Arabic dialects to Wikidata will prevent users from misunderstanding the articles of the Arabic Wikipedia. Furthermore, there are many Arab people who do not have sufficient proficiency to read and understand Modern Standard Arabic as it should be due to the poor literacy rates in some Arab countries. These dictionaries are written more than 50 years ago by native or proficient speakers of Arabic languages and they are currently used as a reference in Arabic Linguistics. Second, as I participated to AICCSA 2017 conference, I convinced several scientists from all the Arab world to add their datasets to Wikidata under CC-0. Consequently, if we translate Mediawiki messages and the names of Wikidata entities to all Arabic languages, we will have Wikidata and consequently the sum of all human knowledge translated into all Arabic languages.
