Places to find translations i18n ... These datas are related to the content of the page but not to the revisions. CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTIONOn 2018-01-23,The purpose of the proposed task is to simplify for Lua coders the use of wikibase. get properties values need to use a complex code using several functions and snaks like:

This property function gets the sought property from any available element and language and returns its value if available.

Rical added a comment. @Uzume you are right this new function is not accurately defined. The keypoint is to give at Lua coders a simple and standardised way to acces all datas. Probably many points are to discuss. Labels, descriptions, sitelinks ... help Lua coders like true properties. If a property as no value the function returns nil and the coder adapt the module. For multiple value a table-sequence could replace a simple value, then coders can easy adapt their modules. Also ranks could be add as arguments to select the admissible confidence need by the module, from RANK_PREFERRED to RANK_DEPRECATED. Perhaps we could add a composite option argument to define ranks, snaks. In snaks, ['Claims'] is necessary in the internal struture of the base but not for Lua coders. In snaks, if the property P123 is repeated why ask the second at the Lua coders. From about 2017-12-28, MariaDB is in version 10.0.23 in wikipedia.org and change between 10.0.31 and 10.0.32 in wikisource.org and mediawiki.org.
probably because not enough stable.
The page Auteur:Rical/Victor_Hugo uses the Module:Tests specialy coded to test the use of wikibase.
Some tests of banal properties from
statements[1].mainsnak.datavalue.value
result all in empty tables { }, not in sought strings, like for P569 = birthday, P570, P21...

Link exemple ( item = id, guide = new, project = wikisource, namespace = Author ) Then modules in all these titles can easily find there item id from mw.wikibase.getEntityIdForCurrentPage() already existing but not functional. Of course all that need some cautions: Each reverse link can start only some days after initial link, in case of revert. Several initial link can accelerate a reverse link. Some modules can link to other entities by arbitrary acces and must not disturb the stability. That could also happen in titles where there are 2 linked entities like famous father and son. Voluntary registered links confirmations seems necessary to solve any complex cases. See exemple in Victor Hugo = Q535 and search "Wikisource". Long term stability: When domains of stability are confirmed by large acceptations, initial link can desappear. At any time and anywhere a divergent link can appear and must be accepted to start a new stable domain. In case of a title included in more than one stable domain, the tracking selector type can guide the tracking logic to avoid ambiguity. Detect could be : search in wikitext templates {{property}} or some other.
Detect also direct links to wikibase from included modules in resulting wikitext.
Detect also the use of mw.wikibase.getEntity inside included modules. That does not give an exact link, only a probable invocation.
Record is proposed in task and near the end of my previous edit.
Search new titles is the main part of my previous edit.
All that is only a start point. Our numeration is based on positions of digits, with significant zéros on the right for empty powers of ten. We cannot truncate the zeros after the left significant part. Then the precision can well define the good limit, if the precision is known. About the century question, this is a good use of the after parameter: Give me painters from 1200, along 100 years. A day or month value of 00 means unknown and imply to adapt the precision (if it is not already worse). Now mainly Pacific Ocean islands near the line of date change for touristic reasons. Rical added a comment. The cases are very various and choose some stable limits seems very hard. How to adapt and reduce the charge of servers ? Which part in real time ? Which part in pre-computed time ? The way could be : For each title Q and each property P compute a mean delay between 2 acces and a mean charge of an acces. From these mean charges, select which Q and P pre-computed work we keep in cache to reduce the global charge of servers. The real time work is then reduced to the too unpredictible asks. This perpetual optimization process could use 1% of the charge of servers, but greatly reduce the global charge. The question become : which elementary charge we compute to optimize the global process ? Then the limits can be bigger and less meaningfull.
