[Wikimedia-l] New Partial block model policy

Hello all,

I’m writing to let you know that now there is a Partial block model policy1 on
Meta.

If your local wiki does not have a policy to cover partial blocks then the
model policy could be adapted for the wiki. Or if you have already written
a customized policy for your wiki, you can share it on the Meta page for
possible use by other wikis. There is also a page where you can share
examples of the way that you are using partial block on your wiki.

Please also ask a question or make comments about using partial blocks on
the talk page or by email.

[Wikimedia-l] Wikimedia Colombia new Board members

Hi all,

On  November  27th,  2019,  the  Assembly  of Wikimedia  Colombia  met  in
 Extraordinary Assembly  of  members and partially renewed its Board.

Here is a brief presentation of the newly elected board members:

* Monica Paola Bonilla Parra, Mpbonillap or Gutemonik in Wikimedia
projects.  She contributes in native language projects and open source
language. She was elected as the new president of our chapter.
* Frank Alexander Ballesteros Riveros, Baiji in Wikimedia projects, sysop
and long-time contributor in the Spanish Wikipedia and other projects since
2006. He was elected as the new treasurer of our chapter.

The other board members remain unchanged. This brings to a 50% the number
of women in our board. We also would like to thank Juan Sebastian Quintero
Santacruz and Ivan Quintero Santacruz for having worked hard with us. We
know you're still around.
