The Wikimedia Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations
Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Rights Office
(UNHCR), will host a special live discussion on how Wikipedia and other
public knowledge can help people understand the human rights implications
of the triple planetary crisis, which includes biodiversity loss, climate
change, and pollution.

New year’s Greetings! We are delighted to have made it into 2022 and happy
to be connecting with you again!

Thanks to all participants who made it to the #WikiForHumanRights December
14th conversation hour last
year, we had over 40 participants across 20 countries joining which was
exciting.

This year we are creating more avenues to provide direct support through
our upcoming regional support office hour. These support hours will provide
insight on what the campaign will focus on this year, additional guidance,
and any technical support required by participants to get you started. We
will have representatives from the community resource team talk about what
you need to know about the funding opportunities for your campaign. You can
read our new post on Diff

conversation #WikiForHumanRights
du 14 décembre de l'année

Greetings from the EduWiki Collaborators - Community Specialist Group!
Eduwiki collaborators is a peer network group that aims to help increase
the visibility of community work around Wikimedia in Education! Are you an
affiliate, organizer, or individual? Would you like to learn something new,
innovate in your project around education or increase your network and
collaboration within the movement?

Ahead of our first Regional Education Meeting for Sub-Saharan in January,
the Edu Wiki Sub-Saharan Community invites you to join its Facebook
Community  and Telegram
Group channel . The idea is to
provide a platform for Wikipedians, affiliates, and other community members
within the region to learn something from each other, share their work and
ideas on activities around Wikimedia and Education. The platform also will
not only provide opportunities to strengthen the EduWiki network but will
help community members to explore collaboration opportunities and identify
common practices or challenges that are faced by our community members in
different parts of the world.

We are excited to have you and we can’t wait to help share your work!

Hello Samir,

I want to make an enquiry on behalf of Open Foundation West Africa.
We will be glad to host a Wikipedia birthday event at our end but what we
want to be sure is that we have a SAPG grant do we still have to apply for
the rapid grant or we should spend from our miscellaneous budget.

We will be glad to know your advice on this.
