Hmmm. How you get such info from WMIN. I am asking for updates for a long
time and there is nothing coming from there.

Please let me know the trick :-)

On-wiki activities and off-wiki activities are a completely different ball
game. Connect to the community is also different in both. A great editor
may not be good in compliance like filling up various forms, sending all
kinds of bills/documents to the organisation (WMIN or WMF etc etc) There
you require a off-wiki person who can do followup to get all the documents,
interact with various organisations/agencies/consultants etc. Deciding on
various grants, giving infrastructure support to editors is an off-wiki
activity too. Running an organisation is completely different than editing
wikipedia.

And of course your opinions are respected. WMIN will have its own opinion
on various issues.

-Sudhanwa

Thanks for taking a clear stand on this.

Just to take up things as a case study, I would like to get some
information from you (as well as EC).

What kind of infrastructure support you are getting from WMIN? Was any such
proposal announced by WMIN earlier that you picked up and got selected for
support.
How the support has changed the way on your work on Wikipedia? eg. no of
edits per month before the support and the change in same after getting the
support.

What is the process to get such support? Is it available only to
individuals or available for organisations too? Please give details.

-Sudhanwa
