[Wikimediaindia-l] Call for volunteers to be part of Election Committee for Wikimedia India

Dear one & all

Wikimedia India is planning to have Elections for the vacant seats of the
Executive committee members whose term will be expiring.

The Current Executive Committee has decided to reach out to the community
to either suggest names for the Election committee or request volunteers to
come forward to be part of the committee.

We would prefer that members from the committee be a resident of Bengaluru,
since Wikimedia India has its office there & this requires administration
work which can be best executed by a local resident.

[Wikimediaindia-l] Need more moderators for this mailing list

Hi,

Could we please add more moderators to this list?

I understand this is a low traffic list and current admins/moderators are
quick to respond when we reach out to them. But, I have seen many new users
who are confused why their first emails are not getting published at once.

There are many well-recognized users across various languages who are
currently active in this list. It will be good to add them as moderators.

If you are interested in volunteering as a moderator, please do reply.
