Which is STUPID and means somebody isn't conforming to Ethernet standards properly. If you're connecting via gigE copper SFPs that's one thing... But copper to copper and GigE doesn't work right? Auto doesn't always work right on gig ports. Try and make sure you and AT&T are set the same. Watch the interface stats and see if u have any errors etc. Mismatched interfaces are always a problem. I'd use the in net tests to give u better info. If u want to use speed test.net use Washington as it's close to the heavily used ashburn peering point.
