Hi George,

thanks for checking that. It looks like we are allowing the hidden
minimum sync value to influence the JT65 decoder in HF mode. I will have
a look at always using zero when in HF mode.

Hi George,

this looks like a defect. Go into "Settings->General" and check "Enable
VHF/UHF/Microwave features" then switch to JT65 mode. There is a spin
box on the main window labelled "Sync", it is probably set to something
higher than zero, change it to zero. Go back to "Settings->General" and
uncheck "Enable VHF/UHF/Microwave features", go back to "JT9+JT65" mode
and try again please.

Let us know what you find?

Did you do a clean in between? GIve that a try. There were quite a few
changes affececting JT65 decode.
Just a suspicion on my part.

Started testing each build sequentially to see where my loss of JT65 decodes
first appears. r6664 works, r6665 and beyond manifests the problem.

Again, no setting changes, same *.wav file, same OS, etc.

Hope this helps!

Re: [wsjt-devel] 6665 Decode Button Stuck

2016-05-05 Thread George J Molnar
Thanks for looking, Joe.

The only steps I can take to reproduce the problem are reverting to an earlier
version (decodes work great), then updating to the latest (decodes work only
occasionally, if at all).

I’m going to look closer into possible cockpit errors. Will advise if I come up
with anything.

I have not been able to reproduce any of the problems you describe.

Code revision 6972 of WSJT-X seems to work without problems here, in all
of the modes you mention.

May I remind you: by far the most useful bug reports include a series of
steps that reliably reproduce the problem.
