Hi George, this looks like a defect. Go into "Settings->General" and check "Enable VHF/UHF/Microwave features" then switch to JT65 mode. There is a spin box on the main window labelled "Sync", it is probably set to something higher than zero, change it to zero. Go back to "Settings->General" and uncheck "Enable VHF/UHF/Microwave features", go back to "JT9+JT65" mode and try again please.
