It is the same type of scaling, regardless of how you enable it.

You can try to pinpoint the culprit by disabling autostarted applications and

No patch, but a workaround:

.thunar .standard-view.frame {
  border-right: 0px;
}

This CSS snippet can be added to ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css .

2019-10-15 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16053

Bug ID: 16053
Summary: no checking for filesystem limitations
Classification: Xfce Core
   Product: Thunar
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: PC (x86_64)
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: Medium
 Component: General
  Assignee: xfce-bugs@xfce.org
  Reporter: marc.andre.ben...@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.8.10

files on filesystems are subject to certain constrains. So can files on Fat32
not exceed 4GB in size. copying a file (20Gb in my case) from in my case ntfs
to Fat32 will result in the file copying and getting stuck at 4GB no warning
about anything it will just wait for ever and basically do nothing because that
constraint can not possibly change. therefor: first check if the source file is
bigger than the biggest possible file in the targetfilesystem and then second
start copying or throw an error...

Happens as well for mousepad, though xfce4-terminal seems not to be affected.

Possibly related to that "auto enlarge" feature of the scrollbar, which is not
used by xfce4-terminal.

No time to work on this currently, busy with some other bug .. patches would be
very welcome !

Thanks for reporting !

Interesting .. I use two monitors, where I almost always use thunar on the left
one .. so until now I never noticed that the scrollbar has some "dead pixels"
on the right :)

I have no idea about "gtk-primary-button-warps-slider" .. though IMO it should
not be required at all to run some specific settings, just to be able to use
all pixels of the scrollbar on fullscreen.

Though the provided "gtk-primary-button-warps-slider" may help to figure out
what is needed to get it to work.

The used theme seems not to matter.

You mean you can not scroll the maximized window with the mouse pointer on the
right edge of the screen? I find that a drawback (too). But perhaps you are
writing about something else.

Yes, this detail is indeed important -- it now reproduces both on my Arch and
Ubuntu machines.
It could also be the root of the issue I saw on my Arch laptop, maybe I was
moving the icon after clicking it.

Yes, it happens every time. Maybe you have other version? I have next pack:

>xfdesktop 4.14.1, runned at Xfce 4.14.
> Builded with GTK+ 3.24.10, compiled with GTK+ 3.24.10.

And another important detail: you can’t move the icon outside the border of its
area (where it is located), otherwise the bug will not be played.

2019-10-15 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 16052
Summary: Switch language shortcut "Win+Space" does not work
bidirectional
Classification: Xfce Core
   Product: Xfce4-settings
   Version: 4.12.0
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: Medium
 Component: Keyboard Settings
  Assignee: xfce-bugs@xfce.org
  Reporter: ardeshi...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: Xfce 4.14

HI!
I am using English and Persian as my available languages. I am used to use
"Win+Space" for switching languages. (using gnome & ubuntu)
now with the same OS, but XFCE desktop, using "Win+Space" changes language from
English to Persian, but does not work for Persian to English.
FYI, I am currently using "Alt+Shift" for switching languages, which works
completely fine.
