Yes, unfortunately our branch is Hadoop-2 based, that's bad news. But we do have commits from YARN-3611, albeit not all of them. Problem is, there are a lot of merge conflicts. I don't think we have any commits from this particular JIRA. I assume that YARN-7605 depends on several other commits, mainly from other subtasks listed here. Does anyhone have a rough idea what those might be? Also, how risky it is to backport that feature alone? I'm not expecting a perfect, conflict-free cherry-pick - minimal amount of conflicts are okay.
