Re: [Zenloadbalancer-support] Nexus 1000v - VMware 5.5
Hi Manuel, that is right, zen cluster uses VRRP protocol, it sends packets to multicast , and mac changes if cluster switches so mac spoof should be disabled for the given vlan. What about mac address forging in VMware settings? Cordialement, Mathieu CHATEAU http://www.lotp.fr 2015-07-11 11:24 GMT+02:00 Manuel Canseco mcans...@wtelecom.es: Hello. I have a cluster on VMware 5.5. I use Nexus 1000v and I have set disable-loop-detection-vrrp and carp in the port-profile and “no ip igmp snooping in the VLAN but both hosts in the cluster are active and with the virtual IP . Does anyone have a similar setup ? Zen Load Balancer 3.0.5 Thank You! Manuel C. -- Don't Limit Your Business. Reach for the Cloud. [Zenloadbalancer-support] Next Release Target
I've got a load-balancer project upcoming very soon that I need to make some recommendations on. The current community edition has some limitations regarding turning off SSLv3 along with some older components. As has been discussed on list, I believe most of these are supposed to addressed in the next release (or maybe are in the current commercial version?). I had filled out a 'Contact Us' months ago, but I don't believe I ever received a contact from anyone regarding pricing and shipping to the US as we would be interested in both H/W and VM (for oVirt/KVM) solutions. In any case, my questions are: Is there a way for me to do some testing using something close to the product that will be generally available in the next 30-60 days? Is there a current target date for release? How responsive is paying customer support when/if there are issues? I've come from environments running both F5/A10 solutions, so using something like Zen LB would be a risky decision for myself as the decision will surely be judged. I guess I'm just trying to get some testing/assurance by testing out and comparing a release similar to what we would potentially be purchasing. Thanks, Chris -- Don't Limit Your Business. Re: [Zenloadbalancer-support] Next Release Target
Hello, If starting now, I would install community version but then upgrade it through the great tutorial sent by Gruber Alexander of 18th of June. Then when they release a new community edition, install it and if same level as upper, replace by new community version. Backup/restore config would do the trick, or join to cluster one node, failover to it, and install other one to swap Even the commercial edition doesn't seem to get new version, which I hope is not a worrying signal Cordialement, Mathieu CHATEAU http://www.lotp.fr 2015-07-14 21:35 GMT+02:00 Christopher Young mexigaba...@gmail.com: I've got a load-balancer project upcoming very soon that I need to make some recommendations on.
