Zim uses the same syntax as Dokuwiki, and Dokuwiki does the

How does Dokuwiki do it? and what about doing something similar in
python?

[Zim-wiki] Shrink images

2014-08-20 Thread Syv Ritch
Hi,

I use Zim 0.61 (BTW: Thanks! I love it)

sometimes I copy and paste web pages with the images for archival
purposes.

A couple of times, the images are huge. One of them is: (JPEG Image,
4852 × 2911 pixels) so when I copy and paste into Zim it's huge. is
there a way to shrink it to become the screen width? or something
similar?

Re: [Zim-wiki] Small spreadsheets

2014-08-18 Thread Syv Ritch
Hi,

For me, rows and columns would be a great start. Something like the
Dokuwiki tables would a start. Then a sum function if possible would
be fantastic

or even better

An on-the-fly copy and paste from Gnumeric into Zim and it converts
it to a Dokuwiki table type with only the pasted values.

[Zim-wiki] Zim, ubuntu 14.04 and python

What will be the process for Zim?

Will Zim work under python 3? or Is it something that you (the dev team)
intend to do in near future? In the long term future? No interest at

 * Install the Portable version of Zim Desktop Wiki for Windows onto

 * Also extract the source tree to another folder on your
thumbdrive. It will run on most GNU/Linux machines without a lot of
fiddling. Navigate to where 'zim.py' is and run it.

Thank you very much.

I see that the desktop version is 21mb and the portable 12mb. What's
