only go to personal home pages you should be fine, but I surfed with a 6200
with system 7.5.5 for awhile, and it was a very big headache.

Hard Ware problem concering the ROM. But other than
that, Irt seems to work fine. Is there some way I

First thing you should probably do is to make sure you actually have a ROM
problem. Often, when the motherboard battery is going, it can appear that
there is a ROM problem when there really isn't. So I would replace the
motherboard battery and see if you still have the same problem.

I have a 6200 with OS 9.1 installed this is the last classic OS that
could be loaded
on this model. The maximum ram is 64 Meg, although I have heard of ram
slot
doublers. They are usable in the 6100 but I have not found out if they

The other thing I would do is to download install the free
8.0 to 8.1 update from Apple site.
iirc 8.1 was much more stable on anything.
